Our space had given you the Pictures of Sonakshi Sinha in a hot black dress for the covers of Maxim’s latest issue. However, the website of India Today published the same news with a fake twist with Sonakshi in a white bikini for the magazine’s cover.
The news obviously did not go down well with the actress who retorted back saying, “Quite shocked to see India Today carrying an article on me appearing on Maxim in a bikini!! Yeah right,” Sonakshi wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
“These guys generally have their facts and figures right! Got the fact that I’m on Maxim right, but the figure (pun intended) completely wrong! Would’ve been smart if they checked out the magazine before writing whatever they felt like. It’s not about me anymore but about their credibility,” she added.
Salman Khan, the mentor and first hero of Sonakshi Sinha, too is irked by the bikini clad pictures of Sonakshi doing rounds among the media circles. Check out the fake pictures of Sonakshi in the bikini…………

A pic showing Sonakshi Sinha in a skimpy bikini has been superimposed on the cover of a men’s magazine. The original cover has Sonakshi in one of her most sensuous photo shoots yet, but nothing like the striped bikini which caught the fancy of several media channels, including a magazine, which published an article speculating on why the demure and conservative daughter of the BJP leader chose to shed her clothes for the raunchy shoot.
An upset Sonakshi has tweeted her disapproval of the article, forcing the magazine to publish an apology, but it was too late. Sonakshi’s mother Punam Sinha blames her daughter’s detractors for the fiasco, “We’re shocked by the levels to which our detractors are willing to fall. The face is Sonakshi’s from Dabangg. But the body certainly doesn’t match. This is an attempt to belittle our family.”
She adds angrily, “Sonakshi is a young girl who can carry off anything if she wants to.
But if she doesn’t want to dress in a particular way, please understand that and leave her alone.”
Subi Samuel, who shot the young actress in a couple of revealing outfits for the magazine, says, “We shot in a studio, but the truth is she is not the kind of girl who would wear bikinis.
Sonakshi is an extremely sweet and conservative girl who holds on to certain traditional principles. I don’t think she needs to wear a bikini to seek attention, especially after being a part of the biggest hit of the year.”
Vivek Pareek, editor of the magazine said, “We work with top photographers and everyone is aware that we don’t morph our pictures except tweaking background sometimes.”
Meanwhile, other than the angry tweets, the Sinha girl has not made any comments on the issue yet.

Fake bikini photo of Actress Sonakshi Sinha circulating in a section of the media has disappointed her like never before. The bikini photo is morphed - no doubt about it. The fake photo has Sonakshi's face taken from the still of her debut film Dabangg and the body of another person in a bikini. The photo in this article is revealing enough, as the actress looks in both the photos are identical. The fake magazine cover had already become one of the most sought-after links on the web and TV channels were having a field day flashing it. Sonakshi's mother Punam Sinha blames her daughter's detractors for the fiasco, "We're shocked by the levels to which our detractors are willing to fall. The face is Sonakshi's from Dabangg. But the body certainly doesn't match. This is an attempt to belittle our family." While she has nothing against anyone posing in a bikini, the harried mother, wife of BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha says there were certain preconditions for Sonakshi's Bollywood foray and sticking to certain dress codes was part of it. She says angrily, "Sonakshi is a young girl who can carry off anything if she wants to. But if she doesn't want to dress in a particular way, please understand that and leave her alone." In several of her interviews Sonakshi has said she would never pose in a bikini. Subi Samuel, who shot the young actress in a couple of revealing outfits for the magazine, says, "We shot in a studio, but the truth is she is not the kind of girl who would wear bikinis. Sonakshi is an extremely sweet and conservative girl who holds on to certain traditional principles. "Quite shocked to read that I will be appearing in a bikini on the cover of the said magazine. It would’ve been smart if they checked out the magazine before printing the fact. They got the fact that I’m on the cover right, but the figure completely wrong," wrote Sonakshi Sinha on twitter. Meanwhile, other than the angry tweets, the Sonakshi Sinha has not made any comments on the issue yet. Actor Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi worked really hard and lost 26 kilos in the last few months to make her maiden appearance on the ramp. And she attracted much attention for being the only woman modelling for a menswear line. Sonakshi sashayed down in a chic organza layered jacket with a stretch cotton shirt, satin slip and black Lycra leggings for the collection ‘Jigsaw’ by Kolkata-based designer duo Dev R Nil at the Lakme Fashion Week that concluded here Friday. “Sonakshi was quite tubby, but worked upon her looks tremendously and reduced 26 kilos in the last few months to present herself in the new gorgeous look,” Nil of the designer duo told IANS. He said that Sonakshi walked the ramp as a friend of their’s since they knew her when she was a student of fashion designing. “She was a not a showstopper but walked the ramp as she is a dear friend of ours,” said Nil. “We know Sonakshi for the last three to four years when she was a fashion designing student. She used to be an usher here at the shows and also helped us backstage. That was the time when we became good friends as she liked our designs,” the designer added. So what made them choose Sonakshi as a model for their show? Nil said: “She is extremely dedicated to her work and takes things seriously. The effort that she has taken to groom herself is commendable.” And why a woman for a menswear line? “When we were doing menswear line, we wanted somebody… one single model who would help connect the collection with the feminine element,” Nil explained. “The collection was called ‘Jigsaw’ and in the jigsaw the missing part of the puzzle was the feminine element and she completed it,” he added. |
